It had rained heavily from the early morning on 20th August,08 [to be exact :)],and the field in front of the hostel was all wet & mildly filled with water & mud, just the perfect condition required for diving & falling without the slightest risk of getting hurt....there was only a drizzle now, setting the mood for all of us.....
We were 13 people & 3 of them Neerav, Abhishek & Shashank were not regular players(of any game for that matter)...first we decided to play "हूल गदागद" (hitting each other with a ball, for those who dnt understand ;) )....Neerav was our primary,or more appropriately, the only "target" bcoz of his awkward style of running & throwing the ball like a 7 years old kid :) :) :)...we formed a big circle & had him running round the field for his safety :),even if he threw the ball anybody close to him could easily catch it without even hurting his hands, let alone be the body :) ...but after a while it changed and all were hitting anyone who came in their range....it was painful, but believe me, the fun was worth it :) :) :) .......
Then Shashank turned over-enthusiastic (lucky for us) and suggested to play rugby...all liked the idea, and so instantly a football was arranged by the "sportsman" Samarth and then started the chaotic fun....it was all crazy and we were running, diving, sliding & falling in the field like you would see in movies :)....when someone fell or was tackled,it was 8 to 10 of us who fell over him creating a bloodbath for the ball :).....Shashank,Daga & Abhishek were the "Chuppe Rustams" of our team & shone like rising stars in our team despite their "single frame" build :P .....
Left to right : Daga, Abhishek & Shashank....the thinnest players of rugby in the world :P...yet very good :) ....We played for one and a half hour or so...the time went by in a flash and we stopped only bcoz there was a class or lab in the second half of the day (ofcourse no class in first half, :) whether there was no class or we bunked it, I cant remember :) )....After finishing the inexpressible time of the game,we had a photo session as usual (for orkut purposes) and the feeling of joy & thrill is clear & vivid in all those pics....it was a time when I had the most amazing thrill and joy in the field, and still I find myself short of words to describe the feelings I had that day (any help by the other players to complete the task of description is more than welcome) :) :) :) .......
